Requirements:

A degree from a regionally accredited institution at the bachelor's level. Non-degreed candidates with at least 10 years of verifiable contract management experience may request a waiver.

Course Overview

This course will expand upon your knowledge by addressing the essential elements of the eight domains that comprise a Common Body of Knowledge (CBK)® for information systems security professionals. The course offers a job-related approach to the security process, while providing a framework to prepare for CISSP certification.

Target Student

The target student for this course are contracting professionals who have education, training, knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, and a minimum of 1 year of experience can apply for the CFCM certification. Individuals that hold other certifications from the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) or Federal Acquisition Institute (FAC) are also excellent candidates for this designation.

About the CFCM Certification

The CFCM certification validates an individuals education, training, experience, and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Very few contracting and acquisition professionals go beyond the DAU or FCC certification milestones, thus putting those that hold the CFCM further ahead of their peers. This certification is a MUST have if you work with in government contracting and utilize the FAR.
