The Customer Service Representative (CSR) program is a comprehensive program designed to teach students the skills and abilities essential for entering a professional business setting dealing with external and internal customers. Graduates of this program will be able to communicate and interact effectively with customers using current technologies such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Internet Protocol (IP) and software-based phone systems, and common Microsoft Office applications. Graduates will possess fundamental sales and customer interaction techniques further increasing their value to prospective employers ensuring full integration into business processes regardless of functional area. Graduates will learn entry-level Information Technology skills to include hardware and software basics, cybersecurity essentials and fundamental computer troubleshooting skills. They may find entry-level employment as customer service representatives, sales professionals, or accounts receivables positions at businesses in nearly every industry. Graduates may earn the following industry recognized certifications upon program completion (earning the certifications are highly encouraged but not required for program completion).
